Carrier is an expert when it comes to air conditioning Olympic venues. Carrier’s greatest Olympic achievement to date was securing 70% of the HVAC products awarded at the Beijing Olympics (not to mention Athens and Barcelona).
Carrier Air Conditioning has extensive experience when it comes to air conditioning major venues, and specifically venues at the Olympic Games. Carrier has supplied a full line of integrated systems to sporting facilities at the Barcelona Olympics in 2000 and Athens in 2004, where the company supplied 635 chillers ranging from small Aquasnap chillers to large centrifugal chillers. One of Carrier’s more recent Gold Medal achievements came at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where Carrier air conditioned 70% of the total project. This included prestigious buildings such as the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube.
This success positions Carrier favourably in the fast-growing sporting facilities segment, and in the build-up to the 2012 Olympics.
