Carrier’s Aquazone Single-package horizontally (50PCH) and vertically (50PCV) mounted water source heat pumps with microprocessor controls. WSHPs are efficient, compact alternative for all boiler/tower and retrofit applications.

  • Nine sizes with nominal cooling capacities from 2.1 to 15.0 kW and nominal heating capacities from 2.8 to 18.7 kW
  • WSHP units offer cooling EERs up to 7 and heating COPs up to 5.
  • Units use non-ozone depleting R410A refrigerant.
  • Single – phase power supply up to size 030.
  • Galvanized steel construction with 12.7mm coated acoustic insulation. Units have powder coated paint finish on both sides for added protection.
  • Rotary or scroll compressors.
  • Water-to-refrigerant (tube-in-tube) heat exchanger.
  • Air handling section lined with 12.7mm foil backed insulation for ease of cleaning.
  • Three-speed PSC (permanent split capacitor) direct drive fans.
  • Filter is one-inch disposable type with side access holding brackets.
  • Horizontal units are available in four airflow configurations, including left or right return, and left, right, or back discharge.
  • Vertical units are available in four airflow patterns including top discharge with front, right or left return.
  • State-of-the-art microprocessor control system includes the following features:
    • loss of charge switch, high pressure switch, water and air coil freeze protection (selectable for water or anti-freeze), lockout safety circuit reset at thermostat or disconnect, LED fault indication, five-minute anti short cycle, random start relay, high and low voltage protection, condensate overflow protection, dry contact for alarm, accessory relay, water heat output, 50 VA transformer.
