38XTZ 007-024 Air-Cooled Condensing Unit

Brief Description:

This system consists of seven sizes with nominal cooling capacities from 18.9 to 68.4 kW. It has three-phase hermetic reciprocating compressors, operating on R-407C refrigerant with thermal and acoustical insulation.

 
 
 
 
  • Seven sizes with nominal cooling capacities from 18.9 to 68.4 kW
  • Split system air conditioners for cooling only and optional heating applications, consisting of the remote air-cooled condensing units 38XTZ installed outside and the 40ABZ/ALZ fan coil units installed inside the building.
  • Refrigerant lines (gas and liquid) and electrical cables connect the two units.
  • Both units are controlled by a room thermostat.
  • Three-phase hermetic reciprocating compressors, operating on R-407C refrigerant.
  • Refrigerant-to-air heat exchangers (evaporators and condensers), made of copper tubes and pre-treated water-resistant aluminium fins.
  • All-copper refrigerant circuit. Indoor unit refrigerant control using thermostatic expansion valves.
  • The units are supplied with a dry nitrogen holding charge.
  • Fan control high pressure switch (38XTZ 014).
  • High and low pressure switches and filter drier.
  • Soldered copper connection lines.
  • Complete internal wiring. Thermal-magnetic disconnect switches for compressors and fan motors.
  • The indoor units have centrifugal fans driven by three-phase motors with adjustable belt-pulley drives. The outdoor units have direct-drive propeller fans.
  • Thermal and acoustical insulation. Flexible shock absorbers in all moving components.
  • Pre-painted galvanised sheet steel casings.
  • Unit connections to Carrier Comfort Zone II, VVT and TEMP systems (depending on the model).
  • Master Link I electronic control (38XTZ 016-024).

  • Thermal-magnetic crankcase heaters for 38XTZ outdoor units (option/accessory)

  • Head pressure control for cooling operation at outdoor air temperatures below +19°C (38XTZ - option/accessory)
  • Special drives for higher indoor unit fan static pressure (40ABZ/ALZ - option)
  • Room thermostat, wired remote control -versions: 220 V for sizes 38XTZ/40ABZ 007 and 008 (one stage cooling, one stage heating accessory); 24 V for sizes 38XTZ-40ABZ/ALZ 011-024 (programmable, with remote sensor option for return air duct or room air, or non programmable - accessory)
  • Master Link-1 advanced service tool via PC software (accessory - 38XTZ/40ABZ 016-024)
  • Master Link-1 interface converter, for control of up to 15 x 15 units (accessory - 38XTZ/40ABZ 016-024)
