Toshiba Carrier UK Ltd is a CIBSE certified Continued Professional Development (CPD) Course Provider and Carrier Air Conditioning offers courses to consultants in the following categories.

CPD courses are run by expert speaker Andrew Keogh, who as an Engineering Manager at Carrier has qualifications including BSc Hons and AIMechE. He has 25 years experience in the air conditioning industry as well as broad experience in all types of chiller technology and systems. 

Carrier offers a variety of CPD courses.  Some are of general interest and cover current trends, developments and themes within the air conditioning industry; (Refrigerants, Energy Efficiency and Legislation).  Others are more product or system specific and cover the application and design of particular technologies of products (Absorption cooling and ‘Aquasmart’ systems).

Target Audience, Including Competence Level

Product-specific courses are targeted at technicians working on the installation and service of those products. The more general course will be of interest to Chartered Engineers.

Duration and Format of Course

 
This varies with content and course type. Product training courses may take several days. Most general courses last 1 hour and are frequently arranged as ‘lunch and learn’ sessions.

Course Locations

In clients’ premises all over the UK or Carrier Air Conditioning’s premises in Leatherhead, Birmingham and Glasgow.
